I cannot be absolutely certain what you are displeased about, but I can have 'a guess'.
In short: 122 "Fans" do not translate to 122 interactions on your art uploads.
At the time of writing, I have... (one moment, please...) I seem to have 220 "Fans", but if I post a News Post, which is essentially all I actually do in terms of "regular" submissions, I barely break 10 interactions most of the time.
And a lot of your followers have no profile picture. Those are 'typically' (but not always) accounts that regular users create when they do not want others to know what kind of nude character drawings they like to look at. Or people who are less interested in NG and more in being able to see "A"-rated art (which requires an account).
Let me pick one at random: @Stevonnie-Forever! (Sorry for the heart-attack, pal.) Based on their faves, they were last online January 2025 or later. They wrote 1 "review" per year, but seemingly got even less interested in that starting 2024. So that's already not a lot of feedback. And based on their faves I'd say they are mainly interested in rule 34 art of franchise characters - less in more original works like 'Wretched is the House of God' or something more fantastical such as 'Mushroom Rest'. But they have only 31 entries under 'Favorite Art', while following several hundred(!) artists. So they have quite a discerning palate. If they put in more effort into explaining what they liked about the art pieces, they might become quite a reviewer. ;)
If you want your followers to be more of a "tight-knit circle", you can block and immediately unblock fans to remove them from your list of followers but leave channels open for future interactions. I usually do that with accounts that are nothing but favorites of "A"-rated art. Not because I dislike those users, but because it would be a 'weird association' in my case. I do nothing that would interest them - and the things I 'do' that would interest them* do not show up for followers when created or updated. ("What does Yatsufusa do to get all 'those' people as followers? Give out free handjobs behind the Art Forum...?" ;) )

Huh, that's a lot to consider, I already was aware about the follower acc not correlating with the my actual ''active'' followers since it's kinda the same over at other places I post my art, but the rest does give me a lot to think about NG. I'll definitively ''purge'' my follower list. Thank you for your words. Really appreciate it.
@Yatsufusa Hi! I'm just now seeing this! I mostly just search for keywords of things I like and follow people who draw things I'm into. I tend to forget the favorite button exists, and I'm either too shy to comment or just don't bc I don't feel like I have anything to say that would add to it, but I always leave a rating, if that does anything. Thanks for the ping giving me a reason to be active on here! I'll try not to look so much like a dead follower.
